Yachting Malta joined the Visit Malta stand at Boot Düsseldorf, the benchmark show for the international boat and water sports industry, which this year welcomed 237,000 visitors from over 100 countries and more than 1,500 exhibitors from 68 nations across 16 halls.
Yachting Malta’s team answered visitors’ questions on Malta’s cruising and berthing facilities and the Maltese flag, part of its work with Visit Malta to position Malta as a yachting destination of excellence. It also networked with industry professionals, met a large part of the Malta Yachting Cluster, and held initial talks about launching new boats to the market in Malta, while keeping an eye on the latest developments in sustainable yachting.
“The importance of boat shows cannot be overstated, as they provide a range of benefits for all involved. The time spent in Düsseldorf has been fruitful and augurs to be conducive to our ongoing efforts on developing Malta as a go-to location for yachting,” said Yachting Malta Chairman Jonathan Borg.
