Yachting Malta CEO Michael Mifsud, Director Mark Vella and Company Secretary Dr Elian Scicluna attended the Malta Maritime Forum’s conference on Environment, Social and Corporate Governance, and how ESG principles are reshaping the maritime industry and every other sector.
Stakeholders increasingly expect companies to make their operations sustainable across all three pillars. Moderated by Kevin Borg and introduced by Judge Emeritus Joseph Zammit McKeon, the conference heard from Dr Roberta Lepre, Dr Stephanie Vella, Clint Flores, Ing. Chris Grima and Martina Vella, with contributions from former EU Commissioner for Maritime Affairs Karmenu Vella and Stephen Xuereb.
Yachting Malta is working to align all its procedures with ESG principles and is actively looking for funding for yachting projects that embrace them.
