Mark Herrera took his second win of the Hudson Race Series and Josann Attard Pulis added another victory as the five-race series, powered by Nike, reached Dingli, a course through Buskett known for its scenery and its challenging uphill finish.
Herrera held a clear lead ahead of Steve Pace and Mark Axiaq, who were separated by just seven seconds. Attard Pulis finished ahead of Jolene Debattista, who held a steady lead over Angele Sammut.
Brandon Saliba won the 5km from Adrian Cutajar and Heathcliff Farrugia, and Charyl Fava stayed unbeaten in the women’s 5km, with Abigail Church three seconds ahead of Nadia Mifsud for second.
Race Director Charlie Demanuele thanked the Rabat and Dingli local councils, the Rabat Police, Transport Malta, Hudson Group and ProHealth Ltd. The penultimate race is in Burmarrad on Sunday 7th September.
