Yachting Malta looks back on a year in which it reached further than ever beyond Malta’s shores, while continuing to back the local sailing community.
For the first time it promoted Malta as a premier superyacht destination at three major international shows: Boot Düsseldorf, the Dubai International Boat Show and the Cannes Yachting Festival. At home it remained a major supporter of homegrown sailing and yachting events, promoting Malta’s year-round sailing conditions and its place as a sports tourism destination.
Education took a more prominent role, with collaborations with Erasmus+ and the ISYL Foundation to develop a qualified yachting workforce, and Yachting Malta worked closely with industry experts on the Superyacht Industry Strategic Vision.
