Mark Herrera and Jemima Farley won the 10km as the 2026 Hudson Race Series powered by Nike opened with a sold-out race on the fast, flat and scenic Three Cities course through Cospicua, Senglea and Vittoriosa.
Behind Herrera, Clayton Abela ran almost the whole race head-to-head with Farley, who finished third overall, just one second behind him. Brandon Saliba completed the men’s podium. Farley’s controlled run gave her a comfortable win, while just 14 seconds separated Ritianne Zammit and Analise Xuereb in the battle for second.
John Mintoff took his first series win in the 5km, ahead of Keith Falzon and Alessandro Vizzini, and Charyl Fava won the women’s 5km comfortably ahead of Brenda Cascun and Chrystal Parnis.
Race Director Charlie Demanuele thanked the Cospicua, Senglea and Vittoriosa local councils, Transport Malta, officials and volunteers. The series continues in Maqluba on Sunday 12th April, with few places left.
