The Royal Malta Yacht Club has announced that the Dinghy National Championships, supported by Finductive, will take place at the Ramla Bay Resort from Saturday 19th to Monday 21st September 2026, as part of the Yachting Malta Race Week.
Held under the auspices of the Malta Sailing Federation, the National Championships and Ranking Regatta will see racing in the ILCA, Optimist and other one-design classes. Strong fleets are expected from all four local sailing clubs, along with a number of international competitors.
“The return to Ramla Bay brings with it a particularly fitting setting for the event. The South Comino Channel offers excellent natural vantage points for spectators, and its location makes it well suited for families wishing to make a full weekend of it,” remarked Adrian Gauci Borda, Rear Commodore (Sailing).
“Malta’s connection to the sea is part of its identity, and the maritime and yachting sectors are also an important part of the business community we serve. Supporting the Dinghy National Championships is therefore a natural fit for Finductive,” said Alex Konewko, CEO of Finductive. “We are pleased to support the Royal Malta Yacht Club and the competitors taking part this September, while contributing to an event that continues to strengthen Malta’s sailing community.”
The championships also form part of SportMalta’s Clubs Initiative for the European Week of Sport 2026. The Club thanked Finductive for its sponsorship and Yachting Malta for its continued support in making events of this scale possible.
