SWIMMING Maltese contingent at the European Junior Swimming Championships

Malta is currently taking part in the LEN European Junior Swimming Championships which are taking place in Rome.

The contingent is made up of Thomas Woods, Luke Sullivan, Maya Galea, Sasha Gatt and Kristina Camenzuli. They are led by national coach Artem Goncharenko who is assisted by Catalin Stan and Roland Eskudt.

First to compete was Thomas Woods who swam in the first heat of the 400m freestyle event. He clocked a time of 4:14.67. He was followed by Sasha Gatt who raced in the fourth heat of the 800m freestyle event. Gatt finished in a time of 8:56.76
