The Royal Malta Yacht Club Team made up of Seb Ripard, Benji Borg, Dario Schembri and Stefan Debattista, have joined over ninety two sailors and twenty three of the best sailing clubs from all of Europe for the 2016 Sailing Champions League, being held in St. Petersburg.
From today, Friday 26th August until Sunday 28th August, the teams, representing twelve nations will be taking part in forty five planned races (fifteen for each Club) at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club to qualify for the grand final in Porto Cervo end of September.
Numerous top sailors from Olympic classes, match racing and different keel boat classes are also taking part. The RMYC Team undertook practice races yesterday and are currently in action.
