Mark Herrera and Josann Attard Pulis reaffirmed their dominance at the Hudson Race Series 10k Burmarrad Edition, while Aidan Tanti and Rosalie Borg Cauchi won the 5km races.
On Burmarrad’s fast, flat route, Herrera won convincingly in 33:03, ahead of Stefan Sultana (35:37) and Jeremy Curmi (37:00). Attard Pulis completed the women’s 10km in 40:50, with Donatella Fenech second (48:17) and Anna Haider third (49:24).
The 5km was tighter: Tanti won in 15:24, holding off Clayton Abela (15:44) and Brandon Saliba (16:04). Borg Cauchi ran 18:03 to win the women’s race, ahead of Lisa Bezzina, who made a welcome return to the series in 18:32, and Marija Cumbo (18:39).
“The Hudson Race Series continues to highlight Malta’s vibrant running community, bringing together established names and emerging athletes in a competitive yet welcoming atmosphere,” said Race Director Charlie Demanuele. The organisers thanked Hudson Group, St Paul’s Bay Local Council and Transport Malta. The 2025 series ends in Valletta on 8th December.
